Fager Oliver Sweet Iron Eggbutt Bradoon Bit

If you would describe your horse as any of the following: 

• Pulls on the bit, but overreacts with too much pressure

Oliver is a Double-jointed sweet taste bit in Grey Sweet iron.  

Sweet iron will encourage a young or unbalance horse to take the bit and carry it correctly.

The design is 100% smooth, all away around the joints. The joints will never interfere or push against the palate or lay on top of the bars. A very comfortable bit that shapes naturally around the tongue.

This design is ideal for horses that easily get wounds.

We design them that way to keep the balance point (BP) in the mouth. If you have a bigger bend forward, you will also move the BP forward and slowing down the process of your aids. More stable and less confusing for your horse.

It has also been shown to protect the bars and flesh from burn marks and wounds on the most sensitive horse.

Other important information: 

• Sweet iron is meant to rust. Most horses love the taste it gives. 
• When you receive your bit it has protection oil to prevent it from rusting before being used. It might make the bit look a bit filthy as first sight. The oil can be cleaned with a simple towel/paper before the first use left as is. The oil is completely harmless for the horse.  
• If you want to delay the rusting process, wipe the bit dry after every use.  
• Do you think your bit has become is too rusty after many uses? Put the sweet iron in Coca Cola and the rust will disappear. It is the fosfor in Coca Cola that makes the rust dissolve. Please be careful using any other strong chemicals with fosfor in it! Coca Cola works fine, we promise.  

 The Fager Horse Logo should always be on the right side of your horse with the logo horse pointing upwards.
