The Eggbutt Loose Ring prevents pinching of the lips and gives a more solid feel against the side of the face. It prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The Eggbutt Loose Ring allows quick release.
The Mullen is a strong bit which creates direct pressure on the tongue. Used to bring the head down
Bomber would prefer to offer an alternative where possible. However, we find that some horses respond well to this, particularly the older horse that accepts tongue pressure.
