Bit Trial Program

Interested in a bit but not sure it will work for your horse?

Why not take it for a 10 day trial.

If you are unsure about type or size of bit please contact us first. We are able to help you make the best selection.

We do not have all bits in stock. If they are in stock, a stock amount will show when you make your variation selection. If no amount is shown we will need to order the bit. Please see the Shipping Estimate at the bottom of the Description.

Trial bits are shipped with Canada Post Regular Parcel with adequate tracking and insurance within Canada and to the USA.

1. Select the bit you would like from our website and add it to your cart.
2. Select this item with your Shipping Options and add it to your cart.
3. Complete your check out for both items (Bit + Trial).
4. The Bit Trial Price covers the cost of shipping to you. This is not refundable if the bit is sent back. Returns are paid by the customer.
5. If you decide to keep the bit please send us an email and we will refund the Bit Trial Price.

Trials are for a duration of 10 days. The Trial starts the day you receive the bit, and is completed the day you ship it back to us – the date the package is accepted by Canada Post or a courier company.

A late fee for bits shipped back after the last day of the Trial period will be charged at a rate of $10 per day. If the bit has not been returned 5 days from the end of the Trial period, the bit has now been purchased and is not eligible for a refund.

If the bit is damaged or is lost on its way back to Eaglewood, the customer is responsible for the full retail amount.

**Please make sure to send the original tags back with the bit if you are returning it**

*USA Customers* Return Shipping:

When completing the broker/value of goods please declare as RETURN OF CANADIAN GOODS. Do not mark as Sale. Please also be aware that if you do not put the correct value of goods you will not be covered for the total amount in the event of a claim.

If incorrectly marked as Sale, the shipment may be charged duty, taxes, and a broker fee. We are not responsible for these fees and the customer will be responsible for payment.
